Tomtom Sponsors Nigeria Bankers' Games

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has signed a contract with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), announcing Nigeria's No. 1 candy  TomTom as Official Candy of the Nigerian national football teams. The contract signing ceremony took place at Cadbury Nigeria,  Agidingbi,  Ikeja, Lagos.
The Corporate Affairs Manager, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Kufre Ekanem, stated that “in addition to being the official candy of the nation’s football teams, a Most Valuable Player (MVP) will emerge at every international game of the Super Eagles played in Nigeria and will receive an award of $3,000.00, courtesy of TomTom. Ekanem said that the awards had already started with the World Cup qualifier that took place between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea on Saturday June 21, 2008 in Abuja, and that Chidi Odiah won the first TomTom MVP Award.
In a related development, TomTom is currently sponsoring a premium corporate football tournament - The Nigeria Bankers' Games taking place at Yaba College of Technology Sports Oval. The games kicked off on  August 2, 2008 and will come to an end on October 5, 2008.
