Celibacy: The Origin, The Practice

Celibacy is a state of  being unmarried, usually in association with a religious official or a devotee, and, by extension, not having sexual intercourse, since ideally sex is meant only for married couples, and no one else. Celibacy had existed in some form or another throughout religious history, and in virtually all the major religions.
