By UFEM UKET, Abuja
The report of the power probe carried out by the House of Representatives has started generating fresh crisis in the house. Some members have accused the leadership of the House of trying to sweep the report under the carpet. They argued that since the committees which looked into the power sector as well as the Nigeria National petroleum Corporation (NNPC) ended their sittings, copies of their reports have not been made available to members. Also a new group has emerged in the house over the N2.3 billion scam. The Group declared it was disturbed by the silence of the Integrity Group, which had champion the campaign for probity in the house, over the car scam. However, to douse the tension in the House on Tuesday, Deputy Speaker, Hon. Bayero Nafada Usman called for patience and understanding over the delay in the consideration of the reports.
