International Housing Fair Holds October, In Abuja

Property Guide International Limited is collaborating with the Federal Ministry of Environment, Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism to hold an International Housing Fair from October 13 to October 18, 2008 at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Property Guide International is a privately owned concern based in Nigeria with international network in the housing sector and involved in the business of providing affordable houses and housing materials to the citizens of  West African nations.
 After this maiden Fair in Nigeria the company intend to hold subsequent Fairs in all the ECOWAS countries from November 2008 to March 2009.
Exhibitions / Road Shows will also be held in the following selected countries:- Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon;  United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain; China  Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea; United States of America and Canada.
The ultimate aim of Property Guide is to progressively promote this Fair to become an international brand and a one stop centre for all housing needs /services for the entire Africa so that it will be on the annual world calendar of international Fairs. That is one of the reasons why we are leveraging in the technical backup of the Ministry of Tourism and its affiliate agencies and parastatals.
The statement explained further that the company has contacted many foreign investors, estate developers / agents, manufacturers of building materials from Europe, Asia and America who have accepted to participate in this maiden Fair which is going to be the BIGGEST FAIR in Africa.
Over 2000 specially selected exhibitors are expected at the Fair to showcase new products and services. Most of the exhibitors include but not limited to Real Estate Developers, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Federal Housing Authority, all Federal Government parastatals / agencies involved in housing and related services, 36 States Ministry of Housing Corporation, Building materials manufacturers, International investors, foreign estate developers, banks, insurance companies, mortgage companies, primary mortgage institutions, Micro-Credit Banks.
Others are cement manufacturers, Licensed Cement Importers, building construction companies, roofing sheets manufacturers, house interior decorators, furniture and fittings, landscaping/gardening services and equipment, and housing building materials, sellers and manufacturers.
 This maiden International Housing Fair, Abuja is expected to provide a forum for showcasing Participants' products and services especially building materials / equipments that will help to reduce the cost of building houses in West Africa.
To provide a forum for major players in the housing sector to brainstorm on the impediments of affordable housing delivery in Nigeria and the entire African continent and provide a basis for networking among major players in the housing sector for needed improvements and accessibility of products, services and funds.
Also to provide a basis for collaborative efforts between local and international investors who are interested in providing accessible, low interest credits/investment in real estate development and enhance public  private partnership in affordable housing delivery.
To also serve as a platform for the internationalization of Nigerian owned companies especially penetration of the sixteen ECOWAS countries and most of the selected African countries.
