Soludo Should Look At Revaluation Again - Okafor

From KENETH ATAVTI with Agency Reports

Federal High Court in Abuja Wednesday gave the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph  Uwazuruike a new  condition for bail.
Justice Binta Murtala Nyako ordered him to produce the death certificate of his mother to facilitate his release on bail.
Uwazurike, standing trial over alleged treason, was also asked to produce evidence of burial rites he has to perform before he could be granted bail.
Mr Festus Keyamo, counsel to Uwazurike said this Wednesday in Abuja while briefing journalists after the day's proceedings at the court.
Keyamo said that the judge had meanwhile suspended ruling on the bail application.

Keyamo said he would furnish the court with further information and find a traditional chief to depose to an affidavit stating the rites the accused would perform.
Uwazurike's counsel also said that he would get the death certificate of the deceased and submit it to the court.
Uwazurike had been denied bail by the court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court on the ground that he was a security risk.
This, however, prompted his counsel, Keyamo, to file fresh bail application premised on the ground that he was the only surviving son of his late mother and had some burial rites to perform.
At Wednesday court sitting fierce looking security personnel barred journalists from covering the trial of the MASSOB leader Ralph Uwazurike.
The combined team of policemen and SSS officials flouted a Federal High Court order on the coverage of proceedings.
Venue of the sitting was cordoned off by the security men who took position in strategic locations within the court premises.
Journalists were prevented from entering the premises while lawyers who came for other matters were subjected to thorough searching.
It will be recalled that Justice Binta Murtala Nyako had declined the prosecution's application to try Uwazurike and others in camera.
Other litigants and those residing in OAU quarters, Maitama, Abuja location of the court, had difficulty going in or out of the estate.
Uwazurike and 10 others are standing trial for alleged treason
