Multiplicity Of Fake Ministers Is A Sign Of End-Time

Multiplicity Of Fake Ministers Is A Sign Of End-Time

Churches are multiplying nowadays without any corresponding transformation in lifestyle of church goers. What informed your decision to set up Christ Gift Revival Ministries?
It is true that churches have become a veritable business venture in the hands of many hungry servants of God today as we witness a tremendous degeneration to that effect. The pursuit of money has made many to profess having heard the divine call. In the same vein,  some people who were disciplined in their various churches for committing one offence or the other decided to set up their own churches hence they left with their supporters from those churches. As expected, he who sets up a church outside divine calling, will always look for shortcuts as backup. That makes pastors get involved in crowd- pulling charms.
As for me, I was privileged to attend Calvary International Bible College and Seminary, Ibadan in 1987 for two full years under our father, Pastor Anjorin of blessed memory. The move  was motivated by an unquenchable and inexplicable thirst within me for spiritual knowledge. Then, I had been waxing records but got a divine call to set up church which I never considered important even  in eight to ten  years. This was  because I believed people already knew me as a revivalist who was occupied all through the year. But I later got a confirmation of the call from one of my fathers in the Lord, hence the assurance that it was a divine directive for me to do so. We started on January 7, 1996 and we thank God today. God who has sent me is giving me the necessary backing especially with my incessant gospel trips. Church establishment has never been my intention considering the level of insults I suffered when I started through the sheep in the church and I realised I should not take offence so as not to end up like Moses did. He got provoked by the sheep he was leading  and that led to his failure to get to the promised land. I am okay if God would allow me to carry on with my singing ministry but when God threatened to seize my singing talent which made me shun his call, I repented and started  the church ministry.
Many professed miracle-working ministers are increasing nowadays. How do we differentiate between the true and the fake ones? And what is the conference of ministers doing about this?
Well, we thank God for the Bible which says  we shall know them by their fruits. Many of them even do swear falsely in public for proof of innocence, just to cover themselves before men but not before God. Our Lord, Jesus Christ even said that both weeds and the tares should be left to grow together till the time of final harvest. So, there is nothing anybody can do about the increase in fake ministers There are leaders of faith who we see as exemplary like Pastor W. F. Kumuyi who has never compromised since the inception of his ministry, the Deeper Life Bible Church, hence no change in his messages. It should be noted also that there are some others who were like second in command to Pastor Kumuyi but unfortunately, upon their departure from Deeper Life, established churches of show. Wheat and tares will always grow together till the Lord comes. My advice is that people should be very careful not to go to the wrong source for solutions to their problems as there are tendencies that such problems may be compounded in those places. They should know that it is better for them to die in problems than to receive miracles and go to hell. Let us beware and know that problems never persist forever.
How can you be booked for a ministration?
Those who know us are already aware that they need to come six months  before the engagement time. If not that we decided not to accept bookings beyond the current year, we would have got places too many to cover a whole year. But those who need our services should come early enough.. There were times we ministered in about three places daily but now age is setting in, hence the decision to play it cool.
Your advice to your fans?
Let those who admire us through our music which they listen to learn  to put what they hear into practical use, for that will definitely pay us, themselves and eternity. God Almighty will take us to that heavenly home. Amen
