R&B singer Ne-Yo has been awarded $700,320 (£395,580) after he was dropped from a tour with R Kelly. The Closer singer claimed he was fired as Kelly's opening act last November because fans and critics preferred him - an allegation his co-star denied.

Usher Loves Ladies-Only Club Tour
R&B star Usher is to embark on a tour for ladies only. "What better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?" he told the Associated Press news agency. The singer, who enjoyed success with his single Love In This Club earlier this year, said he was finalising dates at about 15 "intimate" venues. And he is relishing his sex symbol image.
