Usher Loves Ladies-Only Club Tour

Usher Loves Ladies-Only Club Tour

R&B star Usher is to embark on a tour for ladies only. "What better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?" he told the Associated Press news agency. The singer, who enjoyed success with his single Love In This Club earlier this year, said he was finalising dates at about 15 "intimate" venues. And he is relishing his sex symbol image. "The ladies like to see that masculine build," he said. "They question if I still got it." Asked why he wanted to play for women only, he replied: "There's only a few artists that can pull that off. "I feel like I've had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate." His latest album Here I Stand - the sixth release of his 14-year career - went to number one in the US and UK. A five-time Grammy winner, he got married a year ago and recently re-hired his mother as his manager. The smooth singer is also planning to launch his own ranges of lingerie and men's underwear.
