Community In Confusion Over Missing School Boy

Community In Confusion Over Missing School Boy

By OLAOLU OLAOYE

Neighbours at Buguma area of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State have embarked on a week long vigil over the disappearance of a school boy simply identified as Godswill Nwaroso. The boy, aged 17, was speculated to have attended a local get-together party with some of his peers months back before the incident. Already the development has been reported to the police who have since spread their tentacles with the view to finding the missing boy.
Within the village setting, opinions have divided as two possible theories emerged following a hot search embarked upon by security agents. The first theory being that the boy might be a victim of the restiveness that has claimed hundreds of lives in the recent past. Another theory being canvassed is that the boy, described as cool-headed, might have left the country following the demise of his two brothers who were killed by some unidentified militias who invaded their village at the wake of agitation for self determination. “His father died recently from wounds he sustained during a bloody clash and the most painful aspect of it all is that the boy did not grow to know his mother.” A source informed. Meanwhile, security agents within the community have spread their tentacles to determine the true position of things. Investigations in progress.
