Honda has its full range of products at the Johannesburg International
Motor Show and among them is the new version of its Jazz and the wagon
version of the Accord sedan.
The car, which will have its ride-'n-drive media launch next week,
"builds on the key attributes of its hugely popular predecessor", the
automaker says.
It claims more cabin space, better functionality and more powerful, more frugal engines but looks very like the outgoing model.
It keeps the key features of the previous Jazz, including the central
fuel-tank and world-class seating flexibility, but passenger safety has
been improved and there are larger wheels and wider track

There are new i-VTEC engines - a 73kW 1.4 and an 88kW 1.5 i-VTEC that,
Honda says, deliver better performance with less fuel: general use
figures of 5,8 and 6.4 litres/100 km respectively.
“The Accord Tourer," the company says, "adds sporty styling, greater
refinement and a unique package of safety systems, together with
excellent dynamic capabilities and strong environmental credentials.”
Also on show will be the Civic Type R performance hatchback,
resplendent for the first time in Championship White to commemorate
Honda's long and distinguished history in motorsport.
