Armed Thief Steals Man’s Voice

A 65 year old man was left speechless after a thug stole his voice at knifepoint.
The un-named man, who uses an electronic device to talk, had his machine snatched away from him during an armed robbery in an American bar.
The robbery occurred at around 1a.m., as the man was locking up the pub at which he works in Springfield, Illinois USA. A man wearing a ski-mask and holding a knife burst into the bar and threatened the worker. Holding him at knifepoint, he first insisted that the man empty the till, and then demanded to be taken to the safe.
As a parting gesture, after ransacking both the cash register and the safe  stealing around $800 in the process  the thief also grabbed the man's electronic speaking device and pocketed it, before running off into the night. Police have not issued a description of the voice box in question.
