•Pioneers the Use of Interactive White Board

GreenCircle Network Africa an Education Empowerment Centre with its magnificent edifice at the metro politan 44,  Ladipo Bateye Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos recently enlightened Nigerians in particular, and Africa at large in the use of the interactive white board in Unilag. Science Reporter, STANLEY CHIBUIHEM AMALAHA, in an encounter with Mrs. Olabisi Akinbode, the Executive Director of the firm, takes a look at the mechanisms of the Hi-Tech learning system.

Leaning is a process that starts from birth and ends at death. This means that as long as one lives, he continues learning till he his earthly life is ended. Since the world we live is in motion, likewise learning is dynamic. In other to meet the challenges of the 21st century technological system of learning, GreenCircle Network Africa recently introduced a borderless system of learning in Nigeria- an INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD, aimed to transform every learning programme in Nigeria into a 21st century HI-Tech based with a Hi-Tech learning solutions, which consists of an electronic interactive board, a multi-media projector, a laptop and software's.
Mrs. Akinbode, the Executive Director of GreeCircle Network Africa, and a master's degree holder in University of Ibadan has this to say of "the Interactive whiteboard is an electronic board that has the capacity to instantly store what is written on the board and also has a recorder that can record all what is being said by the facilitator.
According to her the system is made by HITACHI International, Japan, some of the features of the STAR BOARD include:
* It can store over 200 slides of classroom presentation and record all that is taught in the classroom.
*It is fully tropicalised and has a five year warrantee
*It does not need direct/electrification power supply
*It is rugged and very durable, with hard surface that cannot be easily damaged.
*The starboard is waterproof, scratch proof, and can withstand heat or poor handling.
*Easy assessment of internet from the board.
*And also serves as a basic writing white board.
The interactive white board utilizes the use of the stylus pen as its input device. It is a dual purpose input device which acts as a pen and also as a regular personal computer mouse.
The background color of the board is adjustable to any desired color. While the board converts hand-drawn shapes to perfect geometrical shapes. The board has over 80 command icons with which you can utilize when in use. Some of these include. The clip-Art icon; on-screen  record icon; intelligent pen-icon; color-palette icon etc. because of its multi-functional storing recording and unlimited utilities, the interactive whiteboard I usually  termed a "magicboard" by first users.
