Man, 57, Docked For Issuing Dud Cheque

A 57 year old man, who was arrested by the police for issuing dishonoring cheque of first bank has been  charged to court.
Allan Abokhai in a charge numbered A|48|2008 read thus: That you Allan Abokhai on the 22nd May 2008 at Owode ,Ikorodu, did issued a first bank chaque number55989822 leaflet for the sum of #6, 479, 550 to Uni span from work and scaffolding Nigeria Limited, which contrary to section 1{1}{b}[ 1}of the dishonouring cheque  Act  cap 102 Laws of the Federation 1990.
That you Allan Abokhai on the above date and place in the aforementioned Magisterial district did steal #6,479,550 property of Uni-span form work and scaffolding limited and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 390 {a} of the criminal code cap c 17 vol 2, laws of Lagos state 2003.
Meanwhile the case has been adjourned by Justice H.O A Amos for further hearing
