ABC Transport Opens New Ticketing Outlet In Ikoyi

ABC Transport Opens New Ticketing Outlet In Ikoyi

By ANTHONY AWUNOR

In a bid to reach out to customers at the  Lagos Island, ABC Transport has further strengthened branch networks by opening up new Island Ticketing Outlet in Ikoyi.
With the opening of the Island Ticketing Outlet situated on a high brow area of  Ikoyi, ABC Transport now have two city ticketing outlets in Ikoyi and Ikeja which is located at Ikeja Airport Hotel, to serve her teaming customers in these locations.
The Ticketing Outlets support the sales point at the Terminals in bringing convenience to the doorstep of discerning passengers.
ABC Transport is concerned about making her services readily available to all her customers at their doorsteps so as to save them the strain of having to travel long distances to buy tickets and send light parcels.
Aside from the City Ticketing Outlets that offer convenience, ABC Transport offers an online solution that effectively enables passengers to make their reservations and as well receive automated tickets.
It will be recalled that ABC Transport has been aggressively upgrading all her facilities to meet world class standards. Their Jibowu Terminal was recently upgraded with a view to positively improve on service delivery to customers. The additional facilities will offer convenience of check-in and comfort to all passengers, which will further improve on the overall customer satisfaction and performance of ABC Transport's On Time Departure.
Meanwhile, the company has reviewed certain policies that concern its esteemed passengers.
As a result of dialogues between the ABC Management and its customers on the surcharge of 50% for customers that miss their bus, a new policy has been formulated to ease the situation and offer ABC's valued customer a comprehensive service satisfaction.
As from April 9, 2008, travellers who miss their bus will not be surcharged; rather they will join the next available bus, provided there are empty seats.
Customers who miss the actual bus they paid for will get boarded on other coaches and services. This is because the company values its customers and wishes to provide the best for them. Therefore, those that paid for Executive Express Service, and eventually miss it, will be boarded into any available Executive or Regular Service, as the case may be, without any refund from the company. Also, passengers with Regular tickets and later prefer to board an Executive Coach will simply up-grade their fares to make up for the difference in the case of having missed their coach of first choice  The Executive Express Service. For everyone's convenience, travellers may be rescheduled to any other date or service of their choice.
Travellers that fail to take advantage of this great option, and prefer a refund, will still get a substantial part of their initial payment, less administrative costs.
ABC Transport believes strongly in uncompromised customer service standards and has maintained an enviable position as the leading travel, tour and logistics provider in Nigeria and the coastal belt of West Africa.
The entry of ABC Transport into the road transport sub-sector about 15 years ago in 1993 totally changed the texture, taste and appeal of the industry in Nigeria, which was hitherto infested with unwholesome practices. Its strongest strength has been its value of the place of good customer service delivery on all service fronts. Its mission statement of surpassing the needs of its customers by providing services unrivalled in the road transport industry. It has kept faith with the promise till date, bringing into its fold, in the process, a revolution and customer relations re-engineering in the entire road transport industry in Nigeria.
