In line with the democratic dispensation and the administration policy
to transform not only the urban areas but including rural dwellers the
Deputy Governor of Bauchi state Alhaji Mohammed Garba Gadi has
promise to provide better roads and adequate social amenities to
Gobbiya community in Bogoro LGA of the state.
The Deputy Governor made the statement while receiving Gobbiya Area
Development Association, accompanied by traditional and religious
leaders at a courtesy call him in his office to solicit for development
and to congratulate them over the victory at polls.
Mohammed Gadi said, Government will liaise with the appropriate
Ministries to look into possibility of executing the enumerated demands
to ensure feeder roads, water and electricity are provided in no
distance.
No society, he said will be developed where such militating problems
prevails now that the need for economic boost forms the administration
agenda for food productivity and rural empowerment.
On education, Mohammed Gadi said government is committed to take-over
Gobbiya Community secondary school established since 1996 to relief
parents from the present economic predicament, saying government will
soon swung into action to provide health services to complement the
existing Primary health care in the area.
Speaking at the occasion, John Babale who spoke on behalf of the
Association said, they were at the Government to implore Governor
Yuguda to construct a feeder road, water, electricity and to take-over
the community secondary school from parents.
He said, the area as the highest revenue generation has been faced with
multiple problems now that the need for economic boost is paramount
considering its contribution in the production of food.
John call on the entire Gobbiya community to rally round and support
the present administration for the development of the entire state
having exhibited a sense of justice for carrying people along and now
that LG polls hots up.
